ROTC units join forces for philanthropy
On Jan. 23, 2016, Midshipmen and Cadets from Iowa State’s ROTC Units came together and volunteered their time in the annual Dance Marathon. Dance Marathon is the largest student philanthropy on campus, with funds and awareness raised for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. In addition to questions about candidate support, a team of Iowa State LAS researchers asked likely caucus-goers where they get their political information. Out of 511 respondents, 61.9 percent said national TV news.

Student mock trial returns two guilty verdicts
The thirteenth annual reenactment of a landmark groundwater trial by the Department of Geological and Atmospheric Science’s hydrogeology class led to guilty (liable) verdicts in two separate trials.
