Katherine Rafferty publishes case study in Health Communication

Katherine Rafferty, assistant teaching professor in the Department of Psychology recently published a case study in Health Communication. The study, #AbortionChangesYou: A Case Study to Understand the Communicative Tensions in Women’s Medication Abortion Narratives, is one of the first to analyze women’s narratives after having had a medication abortion.

Health Communication is an outlet for scholarly intercourse between medical and social sciences which seeks to improve practical communication between caregivers and patients and between institutions and the public.
