Michael Bugeja publishes several opinion and analysis pieces

Michael Bugeja, Distinguished Professor in the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, penned several opinion pieces which are featured in high-profile publications.

Bugeja authored, “Journalists should better define ‘RINO’ to disempower its autocratic use” for the Poynter Institute, a non-profit media institute, newsroom and research organization.

A recent issue of The Department Chair features Bugeja’s article, “The case for trigger warnings: What chairs should know.” The Department Chair is an award-winning periodical written for academic administrators.

In addition, Bugeja published three opinion pieces in two prominent Iowa newspapers, the Des Moines Register and Iowa Capital Dispatch.
