Simon Estes presented with honorary doctoral degree from Juilliard School of Music

As part of its 2022 commencement ceremony, The Juilliard School of Music presented Simon Estes with an honorary doctoral degree on May 20. Estes, the music and theatre department’s F. Wendell Miller Distinguished Artist-in-Residence since 2000, is an internationally recognized opera singer and philanthropist.

Estes is also a Juilliard alumnus. He also received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Iowa State in 1997.
