John Winters quoted in Washington Post article

John Winters, associate professor in the Department of Economics, was quoted in a July 14 Washington Post article, “Skip college? Not if you want to make more money.”
Winters provided research-based commentary about the value of a four-year college degree and how location can impact a degree’s return on investment. Some of Winters’ insights were gleaned from a May 2020 study that he conducted for the Thomas B. Fordham Institute, a conservative nonprofit think tank.
