This is a new interdisciplinary textbook for American Indian Studies. In addition to historical overviews, the textbook includes short definitions of important topics, discussions of contemporary issues–from health to resource extraction and violence against women.

A collaboration between scholars from anthropology, law and English, this textbook was written using input from classroom use.

The textbook is published by Kendall Hunt Publishing.
