Assistant Teaching Professor Alissa Stoehr publishes book

Alissa Stoehr, Assistant Teaching Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies, together with Heather Rellihan, Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at Anne Arundel Community College, co-authored a book chapter “The Status of Women’s and Gender Studies at Community Colleges” in the 2019 book “Theory and Praxis: Women’s and Gender Studies at Community Colleges.”

Published by Gival Press, this is the first book that focuses on women’s and gender studies at community colleges. It brings together voices from faculty, researchers, program administrators, and students to examine the promise and challenges that these programs have in higher education.
