The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) announced today the selection of outstanding faculty and staff for the 2019 LAS awards. Each year, the college solicits nominations of exceptional faculty and staff for consideration. The college gratefully acknowledges the work of the LAS Faculty Awards Committee and Julie Palmer, who provided administrative support for the process. Members of the committee for this year’s selections include Elizabeth Hoffman, Department of Economics; Joseph Kupfer, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies; Michael Young, Department of Mathematics; Ranjan Maitra, Department of Statistics; Olga Mesropova, Department of World Languages and Cultures; and James Raich, Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology.
