Iowa State University’s Software Engineering bachelor’s degree program was ranked sixth in the nation by College Choice, according to academic reputation, student satisfaction, affordability and average annual salary of graduates. Iowa State received sixth place on a list of 20 top university programs.
College Choice praised ISU’s bachelor’s degree program for exposing students to core classes in mathematics, computer programming and chemistry; providing access to state-of-the-art equipment and encouraging internship experiences.
The Software Engineering program at Iowa State is jointly administered by the Department of Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering.
