Steve Kawaler, professor of physics and astronomy, is heading back to Cape Canaveral this month to witness the launch of another planet-hunting spacecraft. Kawaler and other astronomers will also use the data to study stars.
“This is very rare – it’s the only star we’ve found that shows these phenomena,” Massimo Marengo said.
