Efforts spearheaded by the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics and the Department of Political Science have earned Iowa State University a Highly Established Action Plan Seal of Recognition from the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.
Iowa State is one of 82 campuses to be so recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge.
ALL IN developed this seal of recognition for higher education institutions with strong action plans to increase nonpartisan democratic engagement by promoting civic learning, political engagement and college student voter participation. Action plan strength is determined by reviewing campus action plans with the Strengthening American Democracy Action Planning Rubric.
