RO Adeleke, professor in the Department of History and director of the African and African American Studies, has been selected as the Fulbright Laszlo Orszagh Distinguished Professor in American Studies. This honor is considered the most prestigious appointment within the Fulbright Program.
Adeleke has been assigned to the University of Hungary in Debrecen, where he will teach in the North American Studies Department.
The Fulbright Program is the United States’ flagship international education exchange program. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs.
