“Old Women Talking about Death,” a poem written by Jennifer Knox, has been selected to appear in the 2022 Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses Anthology.
The poem was originally published in American Poetry Review, a publication dedicated to reaching a worldwide audience with a diverse array of the best contemporary poetry and literary prose.
Knox, an assistant teaching professor in the Department of English, also published the poem in her most recent book of poems, “Crushing It.”
The Pushcart Prize: Best of the Small Presses Anthology is an American literary prize published by Pushcart Press. According to the Pushcart Prize website, it is the most honored literary project in America, with thousands of writers of short stories, poetry and essays represented in each annual collection.
