Elizabeth Elmi, lecturer in the Department of Music and Theatre, was selected for a Fulbright U.S. Scholar award to Italy to conduct archival research for her book project “Inscribing the Self in Occupied Southern Italy: Culture, Politics, and Identity in Lyric Song Practices of the Aragonese-Ruled Kingdom of Naples.”
She will be hosted by Italian musicologist Dinko Fabris at the University of Basilicata.
