Monic Behnken, associate professor of sociology and director of the Leadership Studies Program in LAS, was selected as a recipient of the 2019 Way Up Recognition Award.
The intent of the award is to recognize a person who has made significant contributions, which have been sustained over time, toward the development and advancement of women in higher education. The award will be presented to Behnken at the Nov. 7 annual conference of The Way Up.
