English Dept Lecturer Jennifer Knox reviewed in NYTimes Book Review

Congratulations to Jennifer Knox, lecturer in the English Department, for a recent excellent review in the New York Times Sunday Book Review, on Dec. 24, 2015. The review, by Kathleen Rooney, is based on Knox’s latest poetry collection, “Days of Shame & Failure.”
Rooney praises Knox’s craft, noting that she hits “all the poetic marks a reader could want: intellectual curiosity, emotional impact, beautiful language, surprising revelation and arresting imagery.” While admiring Knox’s comedy and empathy, Rooney also underscores the all-encompassing environmental outlook of Knox’s vision, particularly the extinction that looms over all life.
