Olga Mesropova’s RUS 375 class awarded Quality Matters (QM) certification

RUS 375 “From Gorbachev to Putin: Contemporary Russian Culture,” designed and taught by Associate Professor of Russian, Olga Mesropova, has received Quality Matters (QM) Certification. The certification was awarded after a rigorous national peer-review of the learner-focused design and curriculum, across 42 rubrics in 8 categories (including “learning competencies,” “instructional materials,” “learning activities,” and “learner support”).
RUS 375 will display a QM seal of certification on its Canvas page and will be listed in QM’s national database of certified courses.
RUS 375 is ISU’s 14th course to receive recognition.
Quality Matters (QM) is the global organization leading quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments. When you see QM Certification Marks on courses or programs, it means they have met QM Course Design Standards or QM Program Review Criteria in a rigorous review process.
