Eric Riddell, Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology (EEOB) was recently awarded a prestigious award from the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB). The award, the George A. Bartholomew Award, is also known as the “Bart” Award. It’s awarded to a young scientist (must have graduated in the last 7 years from PhD program), and the winner gives one of the primary plenary lectures at the conference in Austin, TX this January 2023 to 2,000 scientists in attendance.
