Ali Jannesari, assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science, has earned a continuing grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The $502,841 award will support Jannesari’s research until 2025. This particular project is focused on improving high-performance computing by identifying optimal system configurations and code optimizations that use available hardware resources.
Jannesari’s research aims to improves high-performance computing without the burden of additional hardware, which can be expensive, complicated and time-consuming.
This award was granted through the NSF’s highly competitive Division of Computing and Communications Foundations program.
