Deb Marquart earns Silver Medal honors for her most recent book

Deb Marquart, Iowa State University Distinguished Professor of English, has earned Silver Medal honors from the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) for her most recent book, “The Night We Landed on the Moon: Essays Between Exile & Belonging.”

Marquart won the award in the Memoir category.

The IBPA awards, which includes over 50 categories recognizing excellence in book editorial and design, are regarded as one of the highest national honors for independent publishers.
