Associate Professor Wei Le in the Department of Computer Sciences, has received a grant from the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Le received funding for the Rapid Adjudication of Static Analysis Alerts During Continuous Integration (CI) project. This project aims to develop algorithms and tools for matching static warnings and vulnerabilities across software versions to support rapid CI assurance.
The Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University is a federally funded research and development center. It’s mission is to “establish and advance software as a strategic advantage for national security, lead and direct research and transition of software engineering and related disciplines at the intersection of academia, industry, and government.”
