Anderson named in top 100 scientists

Jared Anderson, professor of chemistry, was named to Analytical Chemistry’s Top 100 list of analytical scientists, The Power List 2019.

Research within the Anderson Group focuses on all areas of separation science and sample preparation. Topics of current interest include the application of magnetic ionic liquids in nucleic acid extraction and preservation, analysis of genotoxic impurities and residual solvents in active pharmaceutical ingredients, and the development of new stationary phases for the analysis of complex samples using comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography.
