Monic P. Behnken, associate professor of sociology, has received a 2019 Women of Achievement Award from the YWCA Ames at ISU. This honor recognizes women for their accomplishments that forward the YWCA mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Behnken will be presented with the award in early March, at the YWCA’s Women of Achievement Awards and Ceremony.
