Vary, professor of physics and astronomy, and Pieter Maris, research professor of physics and astronomy received an award for best paper for their research paper, Deep Learning: A Tool for Computational Nuclear Physics, at Computation Tools 2018, the ninth international conference on computational logics, algebras, programming, tools, and benchmarking.
