Each year, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, along with Iowa State University, honors alumni who have made a difference in their community, an impact on the world, and a difference in their professions. LAS award recipients were honored during the LAS Honors and Awards Ceremony on October 26, 2017 at the Iowa State University Alumni Association in Ames.
LAS has more than 64,500 living alumni, which grants the college connections to an incredible number of deserving individuals. This year, the following were honored:
