Midwest Data School launches fourth event

Iowa State University will host the fourth annual Midwest Big Data Summer School May 20-23, 2019 in Ames, Iowa.

The summer school brings together professionals and researchers to explore big data. The event will offer tutorials at both beginning and intermediate levels, including hands-on activities. For example, participants will learn to create visual and quantitative summary of data in R and Python and create machine learning models.

The school will also include five tracks that dig deeper including the foundations of data science; big data applications; applications of data science to digital agriculture; software analytics and data science for public good.

Registration is required, and participants can attend all days for $125 if registered by March 20. Student discounts are available.
