LAS Students Courtney Carstens (’18 journalism and mass communication), Zane Satre (’18 meteorology), and Skyler Schneekloth (’18 history) are among Iowa State students who will present their research at the Capitol.
The grant is part of the Career Diversity for Historians initiative and will support the department to integrate broad-based professional development for careers both inside and outside of academic positions.
The professorship will provide funds that support her research into high-risk, high-reward areas that wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust.
Greenlee faculty and collaborators will study how public perceptions of scientific credibility “hinder effective communication, science-based decision-making and efforts to address society’s greatest challenges.”
