Peters, Hochstetler receive Outstanding Scholarly Achievement Award

Dave Peters, associate professor of sociology and Extension rural sociologist, and Andy Hochstetler, professor of sociology, and their co-authors have been awarded the 2021 Fred Buttel Outstanding Scholarly Achievement Award from the Rural Sociological Society for their article, “The Opioid Hydra: Understanding Overdose Mortality Epidemics and Syndemics Across the Rural-Urban Continuum,” published in Rural Sociology.
