Pablo Raúl Stinga awarded NSF Grant for research in partial differential equations and fractional nonlocal equations

Pablo Raúl Stinga, professor in the Department of Mathematics, has received a National Science Foundation (NSF) award totaling $240,000 in support of his research project “Problems in Local and Fractional Elliptic Partial Differential Equations Involving Surfaces.” The grant will support Professor Stinga’s research for the next three years. In addition to its scientific contributions, the grant will also fund the training and development of graduate students and foster collaborations with researchers at institutions across the United States.
