Bertan Turham, associate professor in the Department of Economics, along with co-investigator Quinn Weninger (College of Agriculture and Life Sciences), have been awarded a research grant from the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council. Their proposal, titled “Strategies for Improving Access and Quota Utilization in the Atlantic Surfclam and Ocean Quahog ITQ Fisheries,” was selected for funding in response to the Council’s RFP. We were granted $238,235 for this research.
