Matt Hufford, Cassling Family Professor in the Department of Ecology Evolution and Organismal Biology, along his colleagues, have been awarded an NSF EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program (EGFP) grant by the National Science Foundation. The program is entitled “EPSCoR Graduate Fellowship Program (EGFP): Iowa State University – Training the next Generation of Biologists to Drive Basic Discovery and Build the Bioeconomy” and will fund 10 students per year for the next three years. Students who received an NSF GRFP Honorable Mention in the last three years are eligible to apply.
The program will provide training workshops for students across ISU (not just those on Fellowships) benefiting the larger department and university community.
