Angela Hakim, lecturer in the Department of English, was recently awarded $1,000 from the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost for Iowa State University Professional Development Funds for Term Faculty funding. The award will be used to travel to the Symposium on Second Language Writing conference in Taipei, Taiwan in October 2025.
