Student Fringe Festival celebrates innovation and creativity

ISU Theatre’s Student Fringe Festival gives students from every major on campus an opportunity to flex their theatre muscles in a celebration of innovation and creativity. The festival runs May 2-4 and includes events and performances at Fisher Theater, the Student Innovation Center, North Grand Cinema, and the Ames Public Library.
All festival events are free with general admission. Some performances may contain adult language and content.
All My Love and Patience
Saturday, May 3, 10:00 a.m., North Grand Cinema
Directed and choreographed by Emma Lea Werling
A short film exploration of how fashion and visual storytelling enhance the narrative power of dance.
Elemental Stories: Choral Theatre at the Fringe
Sunday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m., Fisher Theater
Conceived and directed by Rylee Foreman, Jennifer Rodgers, Amelia Shafer, and Emma Lea Werling
150 singers from the ISU Cantamus and Lyrica ensembles and the Ames Chamber Artists form a choral theatre. This closing event of the festival features both ancient stories and natural soundscapes.
